Orange County Wind Ensemble

This past summer the OCWE presented several fine young artists at the pre-concert soirres at the Verizon Amphitheater. Vocalist Sara Baxter gave renditions of Big Band favorites and with her accompanist Josua Morphis the American Song Book.

Emily Baxter’s Jazz Stylings lended so much excitement to the concerts with ease and grace. Ray Kerek and Dave Anderson, from Saddleback College, joined their voices to make Broadway come alive.

The Festival of Children event held at South Coast Plaza gave us a wonderful opportunity to share the joy of music with the outstanding charities dedicated to children.

The July Fourth Celebration featured a collection of American favorites from Sousa to Dixieland.

Welcoming the Pacific Symphony Orchestra audiences to the Verizon Amphitheater evening concerts is a joyful experience. On May 18th the Wind Ensemble performed for the WORDS OF COMFORT, HOPE AND PROMISE Foundation in service to America’s Armed Forces.

This year’s pre-concert performances at the Verizon Amphitheater will be July 4th, July 13, August 4 and August 17.
