Bruckner Music Society
The Anton Bruckner Music Society, Inc. presents interesting and varied programs/events which entertain and educate audiences. Through partnerships with other organizations, educational programs are supported with fundraising events. These programs and events bring to local communities both cultural enrichment and educational opportunities.
In 2010, The Bruckner Music Society was founded by Dr. William Nicholls to bring musicians and patrons together to pass on our rich musical heritage to the next generation of music lovers.
William Nicholls, DMA
Dr. Nicholls holds a doctorate in orchestral conducting from the University of Miami, where he studied under the legendary conductor Dr. Frederick Fennell. He also holds a Master of Science degree in trombone performance from The Juilliard School of New York.
William has extensive experience teaching, conducting at all age and academic levels. A seasoned performer, Nicholls has appeared in concert with the Radio City Music Hall Orchestra, The Juilliard Repertory Company, Carnegie Hall Artist Series, Manhattan Opera Orchestra, Long Beach Symphony and San Diego Symphony Orchestra, among many others.
Dr. Nicholls has appeared as a guest conductor, teacher, and clinician for world-renowned organizations and institutions of higher education.
Bill is active as an educational film producer with Orange Coast Productions, LLC.
